TRICARE Dental Program 6 (TDP6) Contract Award   3

The Contracting Officer determined a hybrid contract type with firm fixed unit prices as well as cost reimbursable line items as appropriate for the acquisition. However, the contract is predominantly fixed price, with the two cost reimbursable CLINs accounting for less than 1% of the contract value. The contract was awarded competitively, in accordance with FAR Part 15.

The TDP6 contractor shall provide comprehensive dental care services worldwide to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to fulfill the requirements of TDP6 as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.

The contracts period of performance is December 1, 2023 through November 30, 2029. It includes a one year transition in period, 5, one year ordering periods, and a one year transition out and residual phase out. The total estimated value of the contract is $3,028,216,101.18.
