The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide services at Yokota Air Base and Geographically Separated Units in Japan for the purpose of tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis in accordance with Japanese Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS) and local commercial practices. The Contractor shall accomplish all services in the following locations to meet the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at Yokota Air Base (YAB), Tama Service Annex (TAMA), Tokorozawa Transmitter Site (TKZ), Owada Communication Station (OWD), Momote Annex (MOMOTE).

Background
The solicitation seeks an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract issued by the United States Air Force 374th Contracting Squadron to provide tree trimming and removal services at Yokota Air Base and related geographically separated units in Japan in accordance with Japanese Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS) and local commercial practices.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, supervision, and transportation to perform tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis. Tasks include:
- Identification and categorization of trees by trunk circumference (Small: 21–89 cm; Medium: 90–179 cm; Large: 180–239 cm; Extra Large: 240–299 cm; Super Large: ≥300 cm)
- Tree cutting to ground level and disposal of debris per waste disposal standards
- Stump and root grinding to 20 cm below ground when directed
- Ground vegetation clearance, including removal of vegetation, weeds, bamboo, vines, and sapling trees ≤20 cm circumference measured in square meters
- Miscellaneous support services charged by man-hour, such as obstacle removal
- Grounds repair and backfilling of holes with topsoil, and sodding to match existing ground levels (sodding April 1–October 31; directed only November 1–March 31)
- Periodic watering for four weeks after sodding, with a 30-day commercial warranty for grass
- Tree trimming to remove 40–50% of branches, application of wound dressing or prune paint, and removal of diseased, dead, or hazardous branches
- Bush removal as directed

Period of Performance
Basic period: 11 September 2023 to 10 September 2028.
Option period: 11 September 2028 to 10 September 2033.
