Tree Maintenance Service and Storm Debris Removal   2

Background: The contract is for tree maintenance services, including tree/shrub trimming, removal, planting, stump and tree grinding, right of way clearing and maintenance, landscaping, and bridges and culvert storm debris removal. The contract is issued by the Fort Campbell Army Installation, which is a large military installation supporting over 30,000 military personnel and a civilian workforce of over 8,800 people. The goal of the contract is to maintain the trees and shrubs on the installation to ensure safety and aesthetics.

Details: The tasks to be completed under the contract include:

- Storm debris removal and grinding
- Tree and shrub cluster grinding
- Tree trimming
- Tree removal
- Tree planting
- Stump grinding
- Shrub removal
- Shrub trimming
- Shrub planting
- Right of way clearing
- Landscape maintenance
- Bridge and culvert storm debris clearing.

The contractor will collect storm debris throughout the installation and dispose of it at designated locations. They will also trim trees according to ANSI A300 standards and remove designated trees from the installation. Tree planting will be done following the Fort Campbell Technical Design Guide (TDG) and ISA best practices. Stump grinding will be done to a minimum depth of eight inches below surface grade. Shrub removal will be done according to TDG and ISA standards. The contractor will also perform general and power line right of way clearing. Additionally, they will maintain ground cover shrubs according to TDG standards and replace a dead/diseased Sugar Maple tree at the Gander Memorial.

Place of Performance: All performance under this contract will occur at Fort Campbell Army Installation in Kentucky.
