Travel Management Company Services for the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Travel Management Office, DTA-6: DoD Agencies

Background
This justification pertains to a task order award to CW Government Travel for continued Travel Management Company Services for the Defense Travel Management Office, Defense Travel Area 6: DoD Agencies.

The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting this assisted acquisition to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Travel Management Office.

Work Details
The contract involves providing all personnel, equipment, material, supervision, and other items or services necessary for Travel Management Company (TMC) services for DTA 6 Agencies.

The contractor must have detailed knowledge of travel regulations such as the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the Defense Travel Regulation (DTR), and be familiar with the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Tasks include ensuring accurate traveler reservations, reconciling centrally billed accounts, supporting surge requirements related to national emergencies and military operations, and maintaining continuity of services without disruption.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this sole source bridge effort is from June 24, 2022, to March 23, 2023, with a five-month base and two 2-month option periods.
