Background
The solicitation is issued by the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), which is the Department of Defense's largest in-patient hospital and only Level I Trauma Center. BAMC is located at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX, and serves a critical role in providing healthcare to wounded service members and the surrounding community.

The Military Healthcare System (MHS) aims to ensure a healthy military force capable of supporting military operations, backed by a combat-ready healthcare system. This contract seeks to enhance BAMC's capabilities by procuring Trauma Registry Services.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Trauma Registry Services in support of the Department of Surgery at BAMC. This includes:
1. Providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2. Ensuring accurate, timely, and complete abstraction, coding, and data entry of trauma patient information in compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements.
3. Conducting full data quality reviews to maintain and manage a comprehensive trauma registry.
4. All contract personnel must meet or exceed national standards established by The Joint Commission (TJC) and adhere to patient dignity considerations as outlined in the American Hospital Association’s “Bill of Rights for Patients.”
