Background
The Department of State is seeking to acquire transportation services for a Senior High Level USG VIP visit. Due to security concerns and the urgency of the requirement, the Department recommends using other than full and open competition for this acquisition. The estimated cost for these services is approximately Euro 4,080,000.00 or US equivalent $4,406,047.52.

Work Details
The contract involves providing passenger transportation services, including vehicles with and without drivers, specifically tailored for a high-level delegation that includes support elements in Security, Communications, Logistics, and Operations. The vendor selected for this service is Queen Limousine and Services Srl located at Via della Magliana, 586 00148 Rome, Italy. The unique qualifications of the contractor include:
- Availability of vehicles upon request with very short notice.
- Capability to provide all required types of vehicles in excellent condition.
- Experience in managing large-scale requirements for VIP visits.
Due to the nature of the event and security requirements, only a limited number of sources can fulfill these needs.
