The purpose of this update is to include the CPSS Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and BOA Statement of Work (SOW) referenced under the subject Request for Proposal.

This notification is to post the combined synopsis/solicitation to provide the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with Computed Tomography (CT) systems and all associated services and supplies to support the Checkpoint Property Screening System (CPSS) Program outlined under Qualification Product List (QPL) window 70T04019CPSSQPL-3, Base-size Window-3 Increment-1.

This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The solicitation number is 70T04021R7672N041 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).

Background
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking Computed Tomography (CT) systems and associated services and supplies to support the Checkpoint Property Screening System (CPSS) Program. TSA was created to ensure safety and security in the transportation infrastructure of the United States and international locations. TSA recognizes CT screening technology as crucial for addressing evolving threats at airport checkpoints.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide TSA with Base Checkpoint Property Screening System (CPSS) units, simulators, program management, warranties including logistics support services, configuration management services, shipping, and installation. The CPSS Increment 1 – Base System shall consist of major components such as Scanner, Primary Viewing Station (PVS), Alternate Viewing Station (AVS), Divest and Revest Roller Tables, Ingress/Egress Conveyors, Buffers/Decision Points, Manual-Diverter Subsystem, CPSS Simulator, Bins, Bin Carts, Rerun Cart, Search Bench.
The work also includes compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and DHS and TSA Enterprise Architecture Compliance.
