Transportation Security Administration Checkpoint Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Services   2

Background
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking industry input for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services in support of Checkpoint Security Equipment at federalized airports and designated facilities. The information obtained through this RFI will be used in the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to be released in Fiscal Year 2024. TSA was established as a result of Public Law 107-71, the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, with the mission of protecting the Nation’s transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce. TSA operates at over 430 airports throughout the United States and its territories. Currently, the TSA has one third-party Maintenance Service Provider (MSP) integrator in place for checkpoint ILS support. The current checkpoint ILS contract is with Leidos, Inc., with a period of performance from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2024.

Work Details
The work involves providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services in support of Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) at federalized airport checkpoints and other designated facilities. The RFI seeks input from qualified vendors capable of providing ILS services, concepts, methods, and Service Level Agreements that would allow TSA to compete these requirements effectively, efficiently, and affordably.
Vendors are required to submit responses addressing corporate expertise, capabilities statement, and white paper solutions including recommendations on acquisition strategy, contract type, SLA metrics, incentive concepts, support concepts at a reasonable price, areas for increased small business participation/set-asides, etc.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the current checkpoint ILS contract is from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2024. The RFP based on the information obtained through this RFI is expected to be released in Fiscal Year 2024.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed are federalized airports and designated facilities.
