Background
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Operations Division, Office of Domestic Operations (OD), is responsible for enforcing controlled substances laws and regulations in the United States. The DEA seizes large quantities of marijuana, pharmaceuticals, and other controlled substances annually.

To maintain security and manage evidence effectively, it is crucial to dispose of these items promptly once they are no longer needed as evidence. This contract aims to provide contractor support services for the transportation and destruction of these controlled substances.

Work Details
The contractor will provide secured transportation and destruction services for seized controlled substances, including bulk marijuana and pharmaceuticals, at designated Destruction Facilities (DF) located in El Paso, TX; LaPorte, TX; Tulsa, OK; and Ft Lauderdale, FL. The scope includes:
- Palletizing evidence, secure loading, transporting, and unloading of controlled substances.
- Conducting incineration of evidence in the presence of DEA personnel.
- Employing qualified personnel who can legally carry weapons and pass background checks.
- Ensuring safety precautions when handling hazardous substances such as fentanyl-related materials.

Deliverables include performance assessments, security applications for personnel, permits and licenses reports, trained personnel reports, and monthly administrative reports on security clearances.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple periods from March 26, 2026 to March 25, 2031 with options for extensions.
