Transcription Services

Background
The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has a requirement for transcription services. The court is responsible for recording verbatim each session and other proceedings designated by rule or order of the court or by one of the judges.

The transcription services are subject to regulations promulgated by the Judicial Conference and subject to the discretion and approval of the judge.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide transcription services at the United States District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The scope of work includes providing transcribers who perform transcription services in compliance with 28 U.S.C. § 753, with the policies of the Judicial Conference of the United States, and with the terms of the contract.

The contractor shall observe, comply with, and be bound by all instructions in matters affecting the composition of the record, public or private nature of the proceedings, adjournment of proceedings to other times or places, appropriate demeanor of transcribers, and other similar matters.
