Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army for the procurement of a tractor with specific capabilities to support operations at Fort Drum, NY.
The goal is to acquire a reliable and efficient piece of equipment that meets the operational needs of the Army.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of a tractor with the following salient characteristics:
- 55-65 horsepower diesel liquid cooled engine (minimum)
- Mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD)
- Rear transaxle with differential lock
- Hydraulic power steering
- Cast iron front axle
- Internal wet brakes
- 3 rear hydraulic remotes for flex wing mower and snowblower controls
- Front loader with general purpose quick attach bucket with replaceable cutting edge
- Integrated loader valve and joystick to tractor cab
- Deluxe adjustable suspension seat with seat belt and arm rest
- Rear PTO driven flex wing finish type mower (12-15 feet cutting width, 15 preferred)
- Two stage 3 point hitch snowblower
- 96 inch snow pusher to match quick attach for front loader
- Hour meter, front and rear lights, front and rear cab mounted work lights, tilt steering, cup holder, toolbox, cruise control
- Complete enclosed cab to include heat, A/C and front and rear windshield wiper.
- Loaded rear tires for ballast weight; complete set of turf tires; complete set of R4 industrial tires with tire chains and wheel weights; IUID labels; fully assembled and operational at time of delivery; all operators, service and parts manuals. The preferred delivery date is 120 days after order placement.
