The Trackless Mobile Infantry Targets (TMIT) training capability services procurement is for knowledge-based services within the Education and Training portfolio and the Knowledge Based Services portfolio group consistent with the Department of Defense's Taxonomy for the Acquisition of Services and Supplies & Equipment. The services include supporting Marine Corps training with semiautonomous, human-type, TMITs capable of moving on a training range within established geographic boundaries to ensure safety, and to present shooters with realistic, moving threats on Marine Corps live-fire ranges and training areas.

Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide support for Marine Corps training with semiautonomous, human-type, TMITs capable of moving on a training range within established geographic boundaries to ensure safety and present shooters with realistic, moving threats on Marine Corps live-fire ranges and training areas. This includes tasks such as automatic obstacle avoidance, safety features, speed capabilities, transportability and deployability, after action reporting system characteristics, scheduling and training requirements using the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) program, travel policy and requirements, inclement weather policy, government furlough procedures, and federal holiday observance.

The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA; MCB Camp Lejeune, NC; MCB Camp Pendleton, CA; MCB Hawaii, HI; MCB Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan; MCB Quantico, VA.
