Additional work in the base bid includes repair of specific steel components on the Tainter gates, miscellaneous grinding and welding on the Tainter gates steel components. Optional bid items include Tainter gates 5 and 6, blast cleaning, painting, replace Tainter gate J-Bulb seals to include replacement of seal bolts with stainless steel and isolator kits, and anode replacement of additional Tainter gates as identified by the contracting officer.
