Towing & Abandoned Vehicle Disposal Services - Hawai'i   3

Background
The solicitation is for towing and abandoned vehicle services on Oahu, Hawaii. The purpose of the contract is to temporarily impound privately-owned vehicles that are abandoned, parked illegally, interfering with military operations, creating a safety hazard, disabled by incident, or left unattended in restricted or controlled areas of the United States Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) area of operation on the Island of Oahu. The contractor is fully responsible for executing the services in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a complete wrecker and towing service, including a flat rate for towing to designated impound lots and other locations on the island of Oahu, towing from the abandonment location directly to the vehicle disposal site, and towing from the impound lot to the vehicle disposal site. Specific tasks include coordinating pickup of vehicles from abandonment sites, maintaining records of all vehicles towed and/or stored, complying with motor vehicle and traffic requirements, and keeping all records required by relevant regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed include Schofield Barracks, Fort Shafter Flats, Kunia Tunnel Facility, Tripler Medical Center, Aliamanu Military Reservation (AMR), Red Hill, Wheeler Army Airfield, Helemano Military Reservation (HMR), Mendonca Park, Pilila’au Army Recreation Center, Dillingham Airfield, Fort Derussy on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii.
