Background
The Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), located in Honolulu, Hawaii, is the headquarters of the Pacific Medical Readiness Command and serves as the only federal tertiary care hospital in the Pacific Basin. It provides healthcare services to approximately 264,000 local active duty and retired military personnel, their families, and veteran beneficiaries.

The mission of the military healthcare system is to ensure a healthy military force supported by a combat-ready healthcare system. This contract aims to provide Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) Pharmacy Compounding Services to meet the needs of patients at TAMC.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide compounding pharmacy services including all labor, medications, ingredients, supplies, components, equipment, supervision, management, and transportation necessary to compound, prepare, and deliver various sterile formulations and sizes of Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) bags as prescribed by Military Treatment Facility (MTF) healthcare providers. Services must comply with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Daily delivery is required with specific duties including:
1. Utilizing FDA-approved sterile drugs and medical devices for Compounded Sterile Preparations (CSPs).
2. Undergoing FDA inspections according to a risk-based schedule.
3. Performing real-time stability verification through independent FDA-registered laboratories.
4. Maintaining comprehensive technical reports and quality compounding reports.
5. Ensuring bar code traceability for compounded preparations.
6. Providing same-day delivery and submitting reports on drugs compounded with each delivery.
