Background
The Fort Lyon National Cemetery, located at 15700 County Road HH, Las Animas, CO 81054, is managed by the National Cemetery Administration, which honors veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary for interment operations and grounds maintenance at the Fort Lyon National Cemetery.

Services include: maintenance of grounds (mowing, weed eating, edging), irrigation system maintenance, headstone installation and maintenance (including cleaning and raising), turf maintenance (fertilizing, weeding), grave excavation and backfilling for interments of casketed and cremated remains, snow and ice removal, trash removal, janitorial services for public restrooms, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and visitors.

The contractor must adhere to strict standards of conduct while on site.

Period of Performance
Base period from February 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026 with four one-year options extending through January 31, 2030.
