Tormach 1100MX CNC Milling System

Background
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is seeking a Tormach 1100MX CNC Milling System to support its Pittsburgh Mining Research Division (PMRD) in rapid prototyping and fabrication of custom mechanical parts for research activities.

The goal of this contract is to procure a complete, operational CNC milling system that meets specific technical requirements necessary for the agency's research capabilities.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one Tormach 1100MX CNC Mill Premium Package, which includes:
- Tormach 1100MX Mill
- 1100MX Enclosure Kit
- 1100MX Chip Tray
- 1100M/1100MX Stand
- PathPilot Software
- High Speed Machining features
- Spindle Orientation
- Rigid Tapping capabilities
- Coordinate Rotation
- Conversational Programming features
- Software Updates
- PathPilot Operator Console
- Waterproof mouse and mini-keyboard
- 1100MX printed manual. Additionally, the package includes various machine accessories such as an Automatic Oiler Kit, Flood Coolant Kit, tool holders, and a range of workholding and tooling items necessary for operation. The system must be compatible with Autodesk Fusion 360 or FreeCAD CAM software and must be delivered new and undamaged within specified timelines.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within 60 calendar days after award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be either Tormach, Inc. or authorized resellers/distributors capable of providing the complete required configuration. If not the OEM, bidders must provide evidence of current OEM authorization with their quotation. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all components are mutually compatible and constitute a complete system.
