Description

See attached Synopsis (N3220523R4012) for the time charter of two (2) tractor-like tugs to support the Government's requirement in
New London, CT.

Background
The solicitation is issued by the Military Sealift Command for the time charter of two tractor-like tugs to support the government's requirement in New London, CT. The period of performance is for four years and eleven months, consisting of a one-year firm period, three additional one-year options, and a fourth option of three hundred thirty-six days.
The place of performance shall be in the geographical region of New London harbor and the surrounding navigable waters, including a distance out to the continental shelf.

Work Details
The contract will require time charter for two tractor-like tugs to support the government's requirement in New London, CT. The contractor is expected to provide the offered tugs by the stated canceling date. The delivery schedule is set for 01 July 2023. The solicitation will be made available on www.sam.gov on or about 25 January 2023. The procedures for acquisition will follow Part 12 Acquisition using Part 15 Procedures.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for four years and eleven months, consisting of a one-year firm period, three additional one-year options, and a fourth option of three hundred thirty-six days.
