Background
The solicitation is for a time charter for tow acoustic array. The contract will consist of the completed Standard Form (SF) 1449, this Preamble, and Parts I through IX. The signature of the on SF 1449 signifies acceptance of the Contractor’s proposal and award of the Charter.

Work Details
The work includes delivering the vessel and all associated equipment to the Charterer at a specified port or place not later than 1600 hours local time at the place of delivery on the canceling date. The Vessel and all Associated Equipment shall be seaworthy, properly manned, equipped, supplied, and ready for service.

The Vessel shall be redelivered at a specified port or place. The Charterer shall exercise due diligence to order the Vessel to safe berths or places that are always accessible and always afloat. The Vessel shall not be ordered or bound to enter any port or place inaccessible due to ice.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a performance period that will last for one firm year with three one-year and one 11-month optional periods.

Place of Performance
The place of delivery is Norfolk, Virginia.
