Thyroid Uptake System

Background
The West Haven, CT VAMC is seeking to procure a comprehensive Nuclear Medicine Measurement System specifically for thyroid uptake measurements, bioassays, wipe tests, quality control testing, and other related functions within the Nuclear Medicine department.

The Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System, manufactured by Mirion Medical (Capintec), Inc., is identified as the only system that meets the technical requirements necessary for these operations. This acquisition is crucial as it replaces an outdated probe that no longer receives clinical support, thereby ensuring continued provision of vital diagnostic services to veterans.

The Captus 4000e system features advanced specifications including:
- New color touch screen user interface with a large 20-inch all-in-one touch screen computer.
- Optional fully integrated DICOM interface for patient data and quality control.
- Ergonomically designed mobile stand with an articulating arm.
- Medical-grade Corian countertop with document storage shelf.
- Power requirements include line voltage of 120 V ac or 230 V ac with specified amperage.

Delivery must occur no later than 90 days after receipt of order to the Nuclear Medicine Department at VA Connecticut Healthcare System.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be provided no later than 90 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Bidder Requirements
