Three Rivers Whitney Lake Security Fence Installation

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this solicitation for the installation of a security fence at the Whitney Lake Power House. The current security fence has surpassed its life expectancy and requires replacement to enhance security and safety for the powerhouse and high voltage switch yard.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 7-foot tall woven security fence, which includes double top-mounted extension arms with three strands of barbed wire each.

The scope of work includes:
- Installation of three equipment access gates;
- Removal of an existing double swing gate;
- Installation of a new double swing vehicle access gate in a specified new location;
- Installation of two personnel walk-through gates;
- Repainting of nine light poles;
- Incidental related work including debris removal.

All debris resulting from the work must be removed from government property and disposed of properly.

Bidders must be small business concerns as this acquisition is set aside for them. Additionally, contractors must develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure compliance with performance standards outlined in the PWS.
