Background
The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is issuing this solicitation to support the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System (AFMES).

The AFMES's core mission is to assist with death investigations of military and civilian personnel lost in conflicts, training mishaps, and wars. This contract aims to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the purchase of brand-name products necessary for DNA testing, specifically the Performa Dye Terminator Removal (DTR) Ultra 96-Well plate kits from EDGE Biosystems, Inc.

Work Details
The required supplies include the Performa DTR Ultra 96-Well plate kits which are essential for human remains DNA testing. These kits are designed to purify and filter dye terminators in sequencing chemistry, a critical step in DNA identification.

The specifications include:
- Plates with columns arranged in a standardized array
- Packed with a gel matrix optimized for removing dye terminators, dNTPs, salts, and low molecular weight materials from sequencing reactions
- Capable of removing DNA primers and fragments up to 15 bases, buffers, and nucleotides labeled with biotin and other markers
- Pre-packed with a fully hydrated matrix for optimal handling and performance characteristics.

Period of Performance
The BPAs will be established in August 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to locations designated by the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity.
