Third Party Collections Support Services Bridge

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is responsible for providing healthcare services to military personnel and their families. The purpose of this contract is to perform Other Health Insurance (OHI) billing and collection activities for DHA Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) using a Government-provided medical billing program called the Government Billing Solution (GBS). This contract aims to ensure continuity of services while aligning existing Third-Party Collections (TPC) contracts with new competitive actions.

Work Details
The contractor will perform OHI billing and collection activities, which include:

- Identification and verification of OHI provided on paper or electronic DD 2569 forms;
- Updating collected OHI information in the GBS;
- Direct billing of third-party payers;
- Ongoing follow-up actions for unpaid claims, including denials management processes;
- Posting payments;
- Conducting valid write-offs; and
- Referring delinquent claims.

This task order covers all Air Force MTFs as well as an additional 52 Army and Navy MTFs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed as a six-month bridge contract with two optional three-month extensions, allowing sufficient time for onboarding activities and ensuring no break in service.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) across the United States.
