Thermogravimetric Analysis Instrument for Benet Labs, Watervliet, NY

Background
The contract is issued by DEVCOM AC WESC Benét Laboratories for the procurement of a Thermogravimetric Analysis Instrument. The purpose of the contract is to facilitate the analysis of trivalent chrome coatings and improve analysis of composites, polymers, coating baths, and lubricants.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a thermogravimetric analysis system with specific technical specifications including sample weight capacity, weighing precision, automated batch analysis capability, software features, heating rates, cooling rates, baseline drift, signal resolution, sensitivity, temperature range and accuracy, furnace type, gas delivery manifold, interfacing capabilities, and accessories kit. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing analysis workstations with all required software licenses for the instrument. The installation will be performed on-site at DEVCOM AC WSEC Benét Laboratories located at Watervliet Arsenal, NY. The contractor is also required to provide system startup and familiarization training for at least three Benét employees on all modes of operation and any required instrument maintenance. The contract includes a standard commercial warranty for a minimum period of one year from the date of installation. The contractor shall also provide written certification that the installed instrument meets the quoted specifications IAW DI-MISC-81356A.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of the contract shall commence upon award and shall be completed within 150 days from award of the contract.

Place of Performance
The product will be delivered to DEVCOM AC WSEC Benét Laboratories located at Watervliet Arsenal, NY.
