Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for therapeutic hot tub maintenance and repair services at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of medical equipment, specifically therapeutic bathing systems, while managing utility system risks and maintaining survey-ready documentation.

Work Details
The contractor will perform preventive maintenance (PM) on therapeutic hot tubs, including functionality tests, visual inspections, deep cleaning, electrical checks, and annual performance tests.

Specific tasks include:
- Weekly functionality tests of controls and safety features;
- Monthly deep cleaning and filter maintenance;
- Annual inspections by authorized technicians;
- Three unscheduled repairs per unit during business hours.

All tasks must achieve 100% completion as per TJC EC.02.04.03 standards.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on April 30, 2027, with options to extend for up to four additional years.

Bidder Requirements
Contractor employees must not have access to VA sensitive information or require routine access to VA facilities but may have intermittent access while escorted by VA employees. No background investigation is required.
