Description

Description of Services: DSS Thera-Doc License Software. The service requirement for this contract action provides support and maintenance services for the Thera-Doc VISTA Software Platform for the VA Bio Medical Pharmacy's Department out of Long Beach California.

This contract action was not awarded competivley;the contract action was awarded on Sole Sole Source Authority. Please see reference statutory authority cited below.

Statutory Authority Permitting Other than Full and Open Competition: 41 USC 3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). COs may use the non competitive (sole source) procedures authorized in Veteran Affairs Reference (VAAR) 819.7007or 819.7008 up to $5,000,000.

CLAUSE VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. This authority under 38 USC 8127(c) provides the authority to directly contract with a service disable veteran owned Business (SDVOB) on a sole source award basis to a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
