The scope of this contract includes the requirement of the USRDS CC to make data readily available to the renal community (see section on Standard Analysis (SAF) files below), maintenance and updates of the USRDS data archives, including but not limited to the production of the Annual Data Reports (ADRs) and other specified reports, publication of original research on findings from analysis of the USRDS data, and support of research to the Renal community related to the USRDS.

Background
The scope of this contract includes the requirement of the USRDS CC to make data readily available to the renal community, maintenance and updates of the USRDS data archives, publication of original research on findings from analysis of the USRDS data, and support of research to the Renal community related to the USRDS. The United States Renal Data System (USRDS) Support Services SOW: an agent of , the Contractor shall furnish all the necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities, not otherwise provided by , to perform the Statement of work described.

Work Details
TASK 1. Transition Activities: The Contractor shall ensure that the USRDS database, documentations and all related software is transitioned seamlessly between the incumbent Contractor and the new Contractor. Initial Transition-in Activities include coordinating communications with predecessor Contractor, transferring government furnished equipment and material, setting up the database at Contractor’s facilities, becoming proficient with all USRDS database systems.
Interim Transition-out Activities involve developing and documenting systems and processes for archived record keeping.
Final Transition-out activities include collaborating with COR and subsequent Contractor to coordinate handoff of USRDS operations, database, software and all related activities.
TASK 2. Provide Logistical Support for all meetings and correspondence: The Contractor shall provide logistical support for USRDS CC meetings with Steering Committee as well as Contract Management Board (CMB).
TASK 6. ESRD Quarterly Update tables: The Contractor will suggest a method of using quarterly data to make projections of expected ESRD incidence, prevalence and deaths in the US ESRD population.
TASK 7. Support for Government Data Requests: The Contractor shall aggregate, analyze and release data for government use.
TASK 8. Support for Renal Community Data Requests: The Contractor shall aggregate, analyze and release data upon requests from the renal community.
TASK 9. Preparation of Standard Analysis Files: The Contractor shall update SAFs at the CC for release to the renal community annually.
TASK 10. Support for Standard Analysis Files (SAF) Data Release: The Contractor shall make available SAFs to investigators for biomedical and/or economic research upon approval by COR.
