The purpose of this requirement is for a new Janitorial Services contract at the Long Island National Cemetery (LINC). The Period of Performance (POP) is from 5/1/2025 thru 4/30/2026. -- S201   2

Background
The Long Island National Cemetery (LINC) is a National Shrine encompassing approximately 365 acres of land. The cemetery's maintenance and appearance must reflect the nation's respect for those interred there. The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its National Cemetery Administration, is issuing this contract to ensure that the janitorial services meet the high standards expected at such a significant site.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive janitorial services at LINC, including but not limited to: cleaning all offices, spaces, and restrooms seven days a week; performing semi-annual cleaning services; and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with the Statement of Work. Specific areas to be serviced include:

- Administration Building (1,800 sq ft)
- Admin Annex Building (1,000 sq ft)
- Conference Building (700 sq ft)
- Maintenance Building (1,500 sq ft)
- Trailer at Maintenance Building (500 sq ft)
- 5 Public Restrooms (500 sq ft).

Services include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows and doors, dusting surfaces, and maintaining kitchen/break room areas. The Contractor must also supply necessary materials such as trash liners, toilet tissue, paper towels, cleaning solutions, germicides, and disinfectants. Daily checklists must be signed off by the Contractor to verify completed services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026 with options for four additional one-year periods.
