Background
The 773d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (773 ESS) is issuing this solicitation to provide access to The Economist Online for all Department of Defense (DoD) Libraries customers. This service is essential for mission support, voluntary education, and enhancing quality of life for users.

The contract aims to secure a provider that can deliver commercial off-the-shelf access to The Economist Online, ensuring that users have the necessary resources for informed decision-making and research.

Work Details
The contractor must provide the following services and features as part of the subscription to The Economist Online:
- 24/7 unlimited, simultaneous access and unlimited user access.
- An easily searchable and viewable digital version of The Economist journal.
- Access to The Economist app, audio versions, podcasts, and digital newsletters.
- Full weekly editions with bookmarking capabilities.
- Access to The Economist morning briefing and exclusive content available on their website.
- Briefings and special reports offering in-depth research on global topics including politics, economics, science, and technology.
- Weekly Leaders providing fact-based opinion pieces on global events.
- Collaboration with the contract Point of Contact (POC) to establish authentication methods for optimal accessibility.
- Security measures including Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3, HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), and RSA 2048-bits certificates (SHA256withRSA).
- Provision or retrieval of database usage statistics by Branch of Service (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Military OneSource/Other, Navy).
- Capability for testing the platform to ensure it meets requirements.
- Provision of usernames and passwords for content access.
