Synopsis:

This procurement is a Small Business 8(a) Set-Aside, Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request for Proposal (RFP), and thus open to 8(a) small businesses only. NAICS is 561210/SIC 8744, with a size standard of $38,500,000.00. Offerors attention is directed to Section A-1.1 in the Solicitation for information regarding the Mandatory tour of the site on 19 October 2016. Proposals are due on 28 November 2016. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds.

THE REQUIREMENT is being advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. The procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract. THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS) Contracting Office hereby requests submission of a proposal for the performance of Facilities Maintenance and Support Services. This effort includes base facilities maintenance support services in order to accomplish the missions and functions of the JIATFS assigned troops and tenant units. Services shall be performed in accordance with Part 5 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in Attachment 0001 of the solicitation.
