Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for FY22 USACE Galveston District Texas City Channel, Texas Main Channel, Turning Basin, Industrial Canal, Industrial Canal Turning Basin Pipeline Dredging in Galveston, Texas. The work consists of pipeline maintenance dredging of the Texas City Main Channel and Main Turning Basin; option work to include dredging the Industrial Canal and the Industrial Canal Turning Basin and a portion of the Main Channel. The solicitation is unrestricted and will be issued on or about JUL 2022 with a response date on or about AUG 2022.

Work Details
The work consists of pipeline maintenance dredging of the Texas City Main Channel and Main Turning Basin; option work to include dredging the Industrial Canal and the Industrial Canal Turning Basin and a portion of the Main Channel.
Material will be discharged into specified placement areas.
The completion time for Schedule No. 1 is estimated at 150 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed and 90 calendar days for option work.
The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award with an estimated magnitude between $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00.
Bonding requirements include providing Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar days after award and beginning work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed.
