Description

The Navy Region Southwest Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) is issuing an invitation to bid on the Term Sale of Mixed Scrap Steel. Category includes, but is not limited to, pipe, reels, shelving, lockers, angle iron, plate, vehicle parts, hardware, cuttings, California appliances, and other miscellaneous parts and pieces. California appliances will be segregated on site at Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake (Ridgcrest, CA) for separate pick-up. Historical data indicates approximately 148 gross tons are generated per year. This quantity is not intended to be a guarantee of current or future quantities. It is anticipated that a minimum of 10 roll-offs will need to be on site on a permanent basis, and another one (1) - five (5) available to be spotted at various locations on a temporary basis, upon request.This is a Government Sale.
