Description

Introduction: The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), in accordance with its Inter-Agency Agreement (IAA) with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), is the primary source to provide standard, commercial-off-the-shelf, Tent Supply items in the event of a disaster/emergency as well as post disaster/emergency response replenishment efforts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). The combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) number 47QSCC19Q0020. General: The Offeror shall provide all management, supervision, labor, facilities, and materials necessary to provide the supplies and services required under this solicitation during both disaster/emergency as well as replenishment efforts. The GSA has estimated that FEMA will need on average 30,000 Tent Supply items delivered annually to various locations throughout the 48 contiguous United States, District of Columbia, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
BPA Type: The BPAs will be on the basis of Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The BPAs will have a Period of Performance (PoP) that includes a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. Government funds are obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPAs.
