The purpose of this amendment is as follows:

Section L

1. Update the contract minimum guarentee refered to in paragraph (b) of FAR Clause 52.216-22 to include the following statement "If First Article is waived, the minimum guarentee will be one (1) production unit"

Section M:

1. Include Clauses M-209-H001 and M-209-H003.

he Government is looking for offerors to submit quotes for the manufacture of Tensioned Belt Drogue Deployers (TBDDs). In order to obtain access to the Technical Data Package (TDP) and Drawings for this RFQ, companies must be registeredand have an active account in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Requests for these items must be made by the individual listed in JCP. Requests to access the TDP and drawing package must be made via email toNicholas Salzano at nicholas.j.salzano.civ@us.navy.mil.

The deadline for the submission of questions is 13 August 2022.
The deadline for the submission of quotes is 2 September 2022.
Quotes received after the above deadline are late and may not be considered for award.
Quotes shall be valid for no less than 180 calendar days.

Background
The Handling Systems Engineering Branch (Code 1534) of the Sensors and Arrays Division (Code 153) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport serves as the Navy's Technical Design Agent (TDA), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), and assists with Acquisition Engineering Agent (AEA) activities for submarine towed array handling systems. Code 1534 designs Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and purchases hardware related to those ECPs. Tasked by the PMS401 program office, Code 1534 is to competitively award a five-year IDIQ contract to a manufacturer to manufacture, in-process test, inspect, package, and deliver Tensioned Belt Drogue Deployers (TBDDs) for Virginia-class OA-9070E handling systems.
All work performed under this contract will be done at the contractor facility.

Work Details
The Government is looking for offerors to submit quotes for the manufacture of Tensioned Belt Drogue Deployers (TBDDs). The contract includes specific products to be manufactured or delivered under the contract including First Article Unit, Production Units, and Data Exhibit "A" Contract Data Requirements list (CDRL), DD Form 1423. The contractor shall deliver items according to the orders issued hereunder, using the prices in the individual Contract Line Items (CLINs). The contractor shall provide DoD unique identification or a DoD recognized unique identification equivalent. The contractor shall manufacture, inspect, in-process test, package and deliver First Article TBDD and production units in accordance with applicable documents provided as GFI and the Statement of Work (SOW).

Period of Performance
The period of performance is five (5) years.

Place of Performance
All work performed under this contract will be done at the contractor facility.
