Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specifically the Vicksburg District, is issuing this solicitation for subcontracting opportunities related to the Mississippi River Levees project. The primary goal of this contract is to facilitate the construction of levee enlargements and berms in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, as part of the flood control and navigation mission of the Corps. This notice is specifically for contractors who are holders of the FY 25 MATOC for Mississippi River Levees.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for construction tasks associated with levee enlargements and berms. Specific tasks include:
- Construction of levee enlargements to enhance flood protection.
- Installation of berms as part of the flood control measures.
- Compliance with all relevant specifications, bidding schedules, and construction contract clauses as outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
- Adherence to safety protocols including a Hazardous Energy Control Program (HECP) and fall protection measures as per EM 385-1-1 standards.
- Coordination with utility services and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures during construction activities.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to begin within 10 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed and will last for 380 calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will primarily take place in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, particularly at Point Pleasant-Yucatan.
