Description

This Solicitation is for Temporary Professional Staffing Services (Various Positions) with the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (LBVAHCS). The award will be for a one-year base period with two, one-year options. Please reference the attached Solilcitation for details.

The Solicitation is open to all Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).

Background
The Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) is seeking Temporary Professional Staffing Services to augment its current staff in various positions. This initiative aims to prevent a skills gap in the Medical and Engineering Departments, ensuring that the VA can continue to provide high-quality services to veterans.

The contract will be awarded for a base period of one year with two additional one-year options, and it is specifically set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).

Work Details
The contractor will provide professional staffing services across multiple functional areas, including but not limited to:
1. Program Analyst
2. Architect
3. General Engineer
4. Administrative Assistant
5. Interior Designer
6. Junior Interior Designer
7. Interior Design Assistant
8. Medical Equipment Planner
9. Drafter.

Contractors are responsible for independently planning and executing tasks as directed by the respective Section Supervisor in support of medical center operations. They must provide all necessary personnel, training, resources, and protective gear required for the tasks outlined in Attachment A – Position Descriptions (PD). The contracted staff shall not perform inherently governmental functions and must adhere to VA policies regarding personnel qualifications and conduct.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin on June 2, 2026, and end on June 1, 2027, with options for two additional one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822.
