ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a firm-fixed price, Competitive requirement for the procurement of two (2) Temperature Chambers in accordance with Government specifications.

Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://sam.gov/.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. A synopsis combination with Solicitation Number N00164-26-Q-0224 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.

All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation.

For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is issuing a competitive solicitation for the procurement of two Temperature Chambers. This requirement is part of their mission to support naval operations through advanced technology and equipment. The goal of this contract is to acquire temperature chambers that meet specific government specifications for testing and evaluation purposes.

Work Details
Contractors are required to deliver two Temperature Chambers that meet the following specifications:
- Temperature Range: -54 to 180 °C (preferred range is -70 to 180 °C)
- Temperature Change Rate: Rated for 5 °C/min or higher when cycling from -34 °C to +71 °C, and from +71 °C to -34 °C; preferred ramp rate is 5.4 °C/min or higher, with 5 °C/min being the minimum acceptable.
- Transition Times: Complete the transition from steady state -34 °C to steady state +71 °C in 21 minutes or less (preferred 19.4 minutes or less) and from +71 °C to -34 °C in the same time frame.
- Port Holes: At least one 4-inch diameter (or larger) cable port.
- Over-heat Protection: User-set limit.
- Viewing Window: Required.
- Temperature Control: Required.
- Humidity Control: Not required.
- Interior Volume: 16 cubic feet or larger.
- Exterior Dimensions: Width ≤ 60 inches, Height ≤ 90 inches.
- Power Supply Source Options: 230V 3-phase 60Hz (up to 80A), 230V 1-phase 60Hz (up to 40A), or 120V 1-phase 60Hz (up to 20A).
- Temperature Controller: Must not use Watlow F4 Controllers; must be equivalent to a Watlow F4T or CSZ EZT-570.
