Background
The solicitation is for Telecommunications Infrastructure Support Services, USFK-Wide. The work involves providing telecommunications infrastructure to support 1st Theater Signal Brigade and USFK communications requirements within the Republic of Korea (ROK). The specific tasks to be performed for each project will be delineated in the Engineering Design Plan (EDP) for that specific project with appropriate CLINs identified.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform various tasks including trenching, installation of underground conduit systems and cable, installation of aerial systems and cable, installation of maintenance holes and hand holes, installation and splicing of fiber optic cables, installation, splicing and termination of copper cables, installation of grounding and bonding, testing copper and fiber cables, removing cable from conduits, installation and use of innerduct and subdividing conduit, installation of outside pull boxes, and providing updated Plant-in-Place drawings. The contractor is also required to provide periodic progress, status, and management reports as well as an Implementation Plan prior to starting performance of each task order.

The geographic location(s) where the construction projects will be performed is within the Republic of Korea (ROK), including U.S. military installations.
