Description

The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and services to plan, design, coordinate, promote, and execute two (2) "America 250 Expo" events one in Tegucigalpa and one in San Pedro Sula. The events will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and will be developed in close consultation with the U.S. Embassy.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Honduras is issuing a contract for the planning, design, coordination, promotion, and execution of two 'America 250 Expo' events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.

The events aim to strengthen U.S.-Honduras bilateral ties through cultural exchange, education, innovation, and civic engagement.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. **Event Design & Planning**: Identify and secure venues in Tegucigalpa (Parque Cerro Juana LaĆ­nez preferred) and San Pedro Sula (Parque Central preferred), develop cohesive event designs, create a full-day program with local and U.S. performers, and design layouts for at least 25 booths.
2. **Pre-Event Logistics & Production**: Secure necessary permits, develop security plans for 1,200-1,500 attendees, manage production setup including AV systems and booth construction.
3. **Marketing & Audience Engagement**: Execute a media strategy across various channels to promote the events and produce promotional materials.
4. **On-Site Event Execution**: Manage all activities during the events ensuring smooth operations including performer management and security oversight.
5. **Post-Event Wrap-Up & Reporting**: Conduct surveys to assess audience engagement before and after the events and provide detailed reports including metrics and recommendations.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance will be from September 20, 2025 to September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The events will take place in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
