Tecniplast Cage Components & Cagewash Logistics Equipment - (Small Business)

Background
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), conducts research into neurological disorders and stroke. The NINDS aims to gain fundamental knowledge about the brain and nervous system to reduce the burden of neurological diseases.

The Animal Health Care Section (AHCS) manages veterinary care and oversight for the Building 35 Small Animal Facility (SAF), which houses approximately 16,000 mouse and rat cages used by various NIH Institutes and Centers for research purposes. The facility requires additional Tecniplast 1145T Blue Line mouse caging equipment, Green Line rat cages, and racks for transporting and washing these items due to wear and tear on existing equipment.

The contractor shall provide brand name or equal Tecniplast cage components and cagewash logistics equipment, including:

8. ACBT0262SU - Water bottle, 260 ml top graduation, 300 ml total capacity
9. ACCP6521 - Sipper cap for water bottles
10. 9LBCBMP18SG3R - Water bottle crate, BC-Matic plastic bottle crates
11. ACCACBOP1036 - Water bottle trolley with a capacity of 10 crates
12. 9CASUPRTLY - Presentation rack for transporting/presenting 84 lids and tops.

Salient Characteristics: All items must be interchangeable with existing equipment or compatible when used for logistics, washing, or storage. A minimum three-year warranty is required on all items regarding material, fabrication, and workmanship.
