This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and technical capability of small businesses (and large businesses if required) (including the following subsets: Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses and Woman-Owned Small Businesses) to provide the required TRDT services.
Centers for Disease Control is issuing this synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Technology Research and Development Team (TRDT) Support. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of acquisition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this acquisition is 541512.

Background
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is conducting market research to identify small and large businesses capable of providing Technology Research and Development Team (TRDT) Support. The goal of this contract is to assess the availability and technical capabilities of organizations that can support the CDC's mission through innovative technology solutions.

Work Details
The services required under this contract include:
1. Rapid Prototyping & Emerging Technologies: Organizations should demonstrate experience in leveraging emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Web3, RPA, and advanced data pipelines to design, develop, and deliver prototypes. Respondents must provide examples of transitioning low-fidelity prototypes into production-ready solutions.

2. Agile Development & Human-Centered Design: Organizations are expected to describe their use of agile methodologies and human-centered design approaches, including collaboration tools like JIRA and iterative sprint processes, to ensure prototypes meet user requirements in dynamic environments.

3. Cloud Infrastructure & Scalability: Respondents should detail their experience in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance during R&D and rapid prototyping efforts.

4. Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence: Organizations must outline their capabilities in implementing advanced data analytics and AI solutions, providing examples of how these techniques have been applied to solve complex challenges while maintaining data quality and privacy.

5. Technology Horizon Scanning & Innovation Transition: Companies should explain their approach to technology horizon scanning, translating promising technologies into prototypes, and operational public health IT solutions.
