Technical Support for Weapon Systems and Subsystems related to SSBN and SSGN Ohio Class Submarines   3

Background
The solicitation is for technical support services for weapon systems and subsystems related to SSBN and SSGN Ohio Class Submarines. The services include support for the OHIO-Class Strategic Weapon System (SWS)/Attack Weapon System (AWS) and Strategic Weapon Support System (SWSS)/Attack Weapon Support System (AWSS), as well as technical training, trainer sustaining support services, and training support services.

Work Details
The tasks to be completed under the contract include providing technical services in support of planning, engineering, design, test, and program management of the SWS/AWS and SWSS/AWSS associated with Fleet Support Sites. This involves delivering monthly status reports, performing investigations and resolution of problems associated with SWSS/AWSS and select ship services, providing test engineering services at Fleet Support Sites, supporting modernization efforts and test problem resolution, conducting evaluations of planned Strategic Systems Programs Alterations (SPALTs) and ship alterations, supporting the Ballast Program, maintaining the curriculum for the Submarine Familiarization Course, conducting on-site TRIDENT II D5 SWSS/SSS Overview training for SSP and Naval Sea Systems Command personnel, delivering attendee training guides and/or CD-ROMs, supporting survey feedback for continuous improvement of course contents, providing SWSS engineering services for planning, design, manufacture, installation and test of SSP approved SPALTs and Conjunctive SWSS Alterations at the TRIDENT Training Facilities, providing technical support for hardware, training materials and technical documentation for the upgrade of Trident Training Facilities, conducting special study analysis for programmatic issues related to advanced training and trainer planning, providing operational, maintenance, modernization and WISC planning support for SWS Training Facilities. Additionally, the contractor shall perform program management support for the maintenance and review of Instructor Led Training and Interactive Multi-media Instruction (ILT and IMI) for the SWSS Trainer /Training Systems.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025.
