The program shall provide for basic and applied research, as well as advanced development efforts, for AFRL/RX in the core technology areas listed below:

Background
The Technical Operations VI (TOPS VI) program is aimed at providing basic and applied research, as well as advanced development efforts for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL/RX) core technology areas. These areas include functional materials and applications, structural materials and applications, manufacturing and industrial technologies, systems support, and new and emerging technology in materials and manufacturing.

Work Details
The program shall encompass tasks related to basic and applied research, as well as advanced development efforts in the core technology areas specified by AFRL/RX. This includes activities such as research projects, development of new technologies, testing and evaluation of materials, and support for systems related to the identified technology areas.
