TDM Gap Contract

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to procure support and sustainment services for legacy enterprise-wide data transport connectivity, which includes systems such as Rescue 21 (R21), Vessel Traffic Service (VTS), Communication Services Network (CSN), and various miscellaneous circuits.

The incumbent contractor, Verizon, will maintain the current state of these services until they can be transitioned to a follow-on task order. This requirement arises from the need to ensure uninterrupted connectivity to the USCG's wide area network as mandated by GSA's Networx Universal contract, which requires all services to transition off prior to May 31, 2026.

Work Details
The contractor will provide support and sustainment for legacy enterprise-wide data transport connectivity and associated services. Specific tasks include:
- Maintaining point-to-point Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) data circuits and Broadband Internet circuits;
- Enabling connectivity to the USCG’s wide area network;
- Maintaining existing configurations; and
- Disconnecting circuits upon notification.

The contractor must ensure that there is no disruption in service during the transition period to avoid operational failures that could impact USCG missions.

Period of Performance
The contract will continue until the transition of services from Verizon to AT&T is completed, which is expected to occur before May 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at locations relevant to USCG operations across the United States.
