Targeting/Weaponeering Assistance Cell (TWAC) Analysis Support

Background
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking analysis and developmental support for a Targeting/Weaponeering Assistance Cell (TWAC) capability in support of the Combatant Commands (CCMDs). The primary objective is to provide technical expertise, engineering, and integration support to DTRA in developing, implementing, and maintaining a TWAC, particularly for the defeat of the 'Hardest of the Hard' targets.

Work Details
The contractor shall develop operational procedures, interface with the warfighter, derive Hard and Deeply Buried Target (HDBT) planning requirements, identify mission planning software requirements, prototype software tool interfaces, provide initial target planning reachback capability, develop academic materials to communicate HDBT/WMD defeat methodologies, conduct HDBT/WMD defeat academics for Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, and provide in-theater HDBT/WMD defeat methodology support for CCMD personnel. The work will involve ongoing research and development (R&D) support and operations and maintenance (O&M) training of the TWAC to DTRA under the current ARA task order HDTRA1-19-F-0003-0010.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this task order effort includes a two-year base period plus three option years in addition to both R&D and O&M surge options. The total value of the current task order for the base period, option years, and surge options is $28,547,097. The proposed extension will end no later than 2 December 2025.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at the contractor’s facilities and also at various DoD facilities.
