The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is conducting market research for the Strategic Sealift Program Management Support Office located in Norfolk, VA. This Sources Sought Notice (N32205-SS-N103-26-110) is intended to gather information regarding the price and availability of U.S. flag vessels capable of transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet a storage requirement at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The goal is to facilitate the first LNG delivery to a new terminal, which will aid in the cooldown process of the LNG terminal and storage tanks.

Work Details
The MSC requires U.S. flag vessels that can carry a minimum of 50,000 MMBTU (approximately 2,200 CBM) of LNG for charter. Specific requirements include:

- Maximum laden draft of 10 meters
- Maximum beam of 32 meters

Special handling and discharge requirements include daylight-only operations with discharge terms set at 250 CBM per hour from ship/barge to NSGB Pier C.
