Industry Day Conference Announcement

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Manager for Submarine Electromagnetic Systems (PMS 435) within the Program Executive Office Submarines (PEOSUB), will host an Industry Day Conference in support of the Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS) program and the Tactically Oriented Technology Insertion Mast (TOTIM) on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Naval Undersea Warfare Centre Division Newport Building 80 Undersea Collaboration and Technology Outreach Center (UCTOC) from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A map detailing the exact location of the UCTOC is attached to this Industry Day announcement in FedBizOpps. Entrance to UTCOC is on the west side of Building 80 (water side) lower level. Please use this lower level entrance for check-in. Limited parking is available at Building 80. Attendees are encouraged to car-pool. Please contact Donald Kluberdanz at donald.kluberdanz@navy.mil and/or Darlene Sullivan at darlene.sullivan@navy.mil with any questions about this Industry day. Check- in will occur between 09:00 a.m. and 09:30 a.m. Attendance is limited to no more than four individuals per organization, and it is encouraged to include at least one Chief Engineer or Technical Lead. All attendees will be required to present a Government issued photo identification. The ISIS and TOTIM Industry Day Conference will be UNCLASSIFIED. At this time, national policy does not support participation in this Industry Day Conference by foreign sources. Please RSVP no later than 17 February 2017 to darlene.sullivan@navy.mil. RSVPs received after 17 February 2017 will not be accepted and attendance will be denied. There is no registration fee for attending this Industry Day.

The PMS 435 Industry Day will provide industry a general technical overview on the ISIS and TOTIM, including high level requirements, and the mast configurations. The ISIS program integrates inboard electronics with outboard sensors to provide imaging capabilities to submarines. ISIS includes non-penetrating photonics masts, and legacy hull penetrating periscopes with Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar components. ISIS provides mission critical, all weather digital imagery, digital image management, and platform architecture interface capabilities for the SSN 688, SSN 21, SSN 774, SSBN, Columbia and SSGN class submarines. TOTIM is the future generation 360-degree panoramic photonics mast that provides improved situational awareness in a non-rotating, reconfigurable, modular sensor unit for VIRGINIA and Columbia class, submarines.

The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept proposals as a result of this Industry Day Conference. This notice shall not be construed as a promise to contract or commitment of any kind. The Government will not award a contract resulting from this conference. There will be no opportunities for questions or discussions between individual industry representatives and Government technical Program Office representatives during the conference. However, the Government will provide industry the opportunity to document UNCLASSIFIED questions that arise during the conference on index cards supplied at the conference. The Government will collect all index cards prior to the conclusion of Industry Day. In addition, electronic mail questions received prior to and after the Industry Day will be accepted by the NAVSEA Contract Specialist Cady Walker at cady.walker@navy.mil. Responses to written questions will be provided via follow-up electronic posts to FedBizOpps. The Government is not committed to respond to any questions.
