Tactical RF Remote Monitoring System

EXPLAIN: 1st SP BDE has a requirement for 3 ea. SEEKr Tactical RF Remote Managing & Monitoring systems Part Number NIC4-SKR3.0-00001-A. The system is commercially available, designed, assembled and integrated with commercially available IT products by NIC4.

The NIC4 SEEKr RF Remote Managing & Monitoring System is designed specifically by NIC4 professionals to deliver a remotely manageable signal stimulus at multiple locations world-wide. The current method of signal status reports is limited by hardwired cables.

Currently, to do our unclas mission, we need to be physically present at multiple locations worldwide, presenting manning/funding concerns. The NIC4 SEEKr system will allow soldiers to perform the mission from Fort Carson, CO while the antennae is physically located elsewhere.

NIC4 represents that it IS a small business concern for NAICS code 334220

Source Sought: A sources sought was posted on SAM.gov on 19 Dec 22 with offers due on 29 Dec 22. A response was received via email from NIC4 with all pertinent data included. Two (2) other small business vendors responded with interest via email and their questions were answered by the contracting officer.

-Dt-track stated that they will not be able to provide a quotation on 18 Jan 23 as they had reached out to the manufacturer for distribution opportunities and there were none available as OEM/NIC4 would be offering a quote directly.

-VZ space had also shown interest in regards to parts listed in the requirements document. VZ space responded negatively on 17 Jan 23 that they have elected not to pursue this further because we would not be able to start work until July .

NIC4 is a registered small-business for NAICS code 334220 and is in good standing with the US Goverment. NIC4 has assembled the unit with commercial IT products and the SEEKr unit is commercially available. Based on this information and the negative responses from other small business vendors, the Contracting Officer recommends a sole-source purchase to NIC4 (SB) CAGE Code 6DN67, UEI FKJECQRV42E1
