Description

This training is required in order to establish vigorous communications networks in austere, disadvantaged, and communications-denied environments. The course of instruction must discuss skills associated with basic communications theory, Very High Frequency (VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) communications techniques, gain antenna application, materials and connector utilization, High Frequency (HF) utilization, communications in contested environments, and communications in arctic environments. Course must also include a curriculum that is handson in real-world scenarios. The course overall shall not exceed five consecutive days for each CLIN as outlined in Paragraph 1.5.
