TacCom and TechOps III

Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research for a Multi-Agency Contract aimed at procuring Tactical Communications Equipment and Services (TacCom) and Technical Investigative Surveillance Operations (TechOps) III solutions.

This initiative supports DHS's mission and strategic goals by identifying qualified sources that can provide necessary services, which will help in formulating acquisition strategies for future competitive solicitations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide DHS with access to a wide variety of TacCom and TechOps commodity equipment from multiple Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as available from commercial and GSA catalogs. Services include infrastructure, operation, and maintenance.

The contract scope includes:
1. **Technical Category 1: Equipment**
- Radios and Accessories: end-user equipment, devices, push-to-talk applications, interfaces, user equipment, and associated accessories.
- Infrastructure: software, hardware, communications infrastructure including microwave backhaul, control/base stations, radios, repeaters, encryption systems, antennas, networking management tools.
- Maritime/Air: tactical communications equipment for boats and aircraft systems.
- Satellite: end-user equipment and related infrastructure.
- Video, Audio, Sensor & Ancillary Systems: devices for collecting and managing video/audio/sensor information.
2. **Technical Category 2: Services**
- Radios: development, maintenance, programming of radio systems.
- TechOps Systems: support for TechOps systems.
- Operations and Sustainment Services: sustaining TacCom or TechOps systems.
- Engineering Services: architecting and implementing TacCom or TechOps systems.
- General Project Management Services.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in the United States and potentially foreign locations as specified in individual orders.
